# LinkedStorm Implementation Plan > **For agentic workers:** REQUIRED SUB-SKILL: Use superpowers:subagent-driven-development (recommended) or superpowers:executing-plans to implement this plan task-by-task. Steps use checkbox (`- [ ]`) syntax for tracking. **Goal:** Build and deploy LinkedStorm — 3 Docker containers (pipeline, api, cron) that capture household speech via browser WebSocket, transcribe with Whisper, identify speakers with resemblyzer, and serve a searchable daily log dashboard. **Architecture:** Browser tabs stream 250ms audio chunks over WebSocket to `linkedstorm-pipeline` (port 8300), which runs Silero VAD, calls Whisper STT + resemblyzer concurrently, matches voice embeddings against SQLite, and writes utterances. `linkedstorm-api` (port 8310) serves the FastAPI dashboard. `linkedstorm-cron` runs nightly Ollama summaries. All three mount the same NAS volume for SQLite + WAV clips. **Tech Stack:** Python 3.12, FastAPI, uvicorn, SQLite WAL+FTS5, resemblyzer, silero-vad, httpx, livekit-api, pytest, pytest-asyncio, vanilla JS, Docker Compose. **Code repo:** `http://192.168.86.100:3003/jeremy/linkedstorm` (clone to `/mnt/c/Users/Jeremy/projects/linkedstorm`) **Compose repo:** `/mnt/c/Users/Jeremy/projects/docker/compose/hf-pdocker-01/linkedstorm/` --- ## File Map ``` /mnt/c/Users/Jeremy/projects/linkedstorm/ ├── pyproject.toml ├── pytest.ini ├── .env.example ├── app/ │ ├── shared/ │ │ ├── __init__.py │ │ ├── config.py # Pydantic Settings — all env vars │ │ ├── database.py # SQLite thread-local connection, schema init │ │ └── models.py # Dataclasses: Room, Speaker, Utterance, etc. │ ├── pipeline/ │ │ ├── __init__.py │ │ ├── main.py # FastAPI app: ws://:8300/ws/{room_id} + /internal/rooms/{id}/mute │ │ ├── ingestion.py # RoomVADBuffer: per-room VAD accumulator │ │ ├── processor.py # process_utterance: Whisper + resemblyzer + DB write │ │ └── recognition.py # embed_audio, find_best_speaker_match, pack/unpack embedding │ ├── api/ │ │ ├── __init__.py │ │ ├── main.py # FastAPI app: mounts all routes, serves static/ │ │ ├── routes/ │ │ │ ├── __init__.py │ │ │ ├── utterances.py # GET/POST /api/utterances, /tag, /dismiss, /clip │ │ │ ├── speakers.py # GET/POST /api/speakers │ │ │ ├── rooms.py # GET /api/rooms, POST /api/rooms/{id}/mute │ │ │ ├── search.py # GET /api/search?q= │ │ │ └── rag.py # POST /api/ask, GET /api/summary/{date} │ │ └── static/ │ │ ├── index.html # Dashboard SPA (5 tabs) │ │ ├── capture.html # Minimal capture page (MediaRecorder + WS) │ │ └── app.js # Dashboard JS │ └── cron/ │ ├── __init__.py │ ├── main.py # Sleep-loop entrypoint: runs all jobs at midnight │ ├── daily_summary.py # Fetch utterances → Ollama → daily_summaries row │ ├── cluster_unknowns.py # Cluster unknown embeddings into Unknown #N groups │ └── purge_clips.py # Delete WAV files older than CLIP_RETENTION_DAYS ├── tests/ │ ├── conftest.py # Shared fixtures: in-memory SQLite settings │ ├── test_database.py │ ├── test_recognition.py │ ├── test_ingestion.py │ ├── test_processor.py │ ├── test_cron.py │ └── routes/ │ ├── conftest.py # TestClient fixture │ ├── test_utterances.py │ ├── test_speakers.py │ ├── test_rooms.py │ ├── test_search.py │ └── test_rag.py ├── pipeline/ │ └── Dockerfile ├── api/ │ └── Dockerfile └── cron/ └── Dockerfile /mnt/c/Users/Jeremy/projects/docker/ ├── compose/hf-pdocker-01/linkedstorm/ │ ├── docker-compose.yml │ └── .env.example └── stacks/traefik/dynamic/linkedstorm.yml ``` --- ## Task 1: Clone repo and scaffold **Files:** `pyproject.toml`, `pytest.ini`, `.env.example`, all `__init__.py` files - Replay uses stored WAV clips via /api/utterances/{id}/clip. **Type consistency:** `find_best_speaker_match` returns `tuple[str, int | None, float | None]` — used consistently in recognition.py (Task 4) and processor.py (Task 6). `pack_embedding`/`unpack_embedding` used in recognition.py, processor.py, and utterances.py — same import path `app.pipeline.recognition` throughout.
